Privacy Policy
This Policy explains how TVHub collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our mobile applications, website, and related services.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: email address, authentication provider identifiers, username, profile image, and profile details.
- Viewing and library activity: watchlists, watched titles, episode progress, ratings, favorites, lists, and imported viewing history.
- Social content: posts, reviews, replies, reactions, follows, poll votes, images, and content you choose to share.
- Device and technical information: device identifiers used for notifications, app version, language, diagnostic information, IP address, and security logs.
- Integration data: information you authorize TVHub to import or synchronize from supported third-party services.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide and personalize TVHub, maintain your library and progress, enable social features, send requested notifications, secure accounts, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, understand performance, and comply with legal obligations.
3. When information is shared
Your public profile and content you post may be visible to other users. We may share information with infrastructure, authentication, media-data, storage, notification, analytics, and support providers that process it for us. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Third-party content and integrations
TVHub uses third-party services to supply media metadata, artwork, GIFs, authentication, imports, and other functionality. When you connect an integration or follow an external link, that provider’s privacy policy also applies.
5. Retention and deletion
We retain information while your account is active and as needed to operate TVHub. You can request account deletion in Settings. Some information may remain for a limited period in backups, fraud-prevention records, or where retention is legally required. Content shared with others may persist in their copies or references.
6. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted transport and access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so you should also protect your credentials and device.
7. Your choices and rights
You can edit profile information, manage notifications and integrations, remove content, or request account deletion from the app. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information.
8. Children
TVHub is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where required by local law. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us.
9. International processing
TVHub and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
10. Policy updates
We may update this Policy as our service or legal obligations change. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
